Cagayan de Oro City — Grand City Hotels Inc. proudly supports students from PHINMA Cagayan de Oro College (COC) during Day 1 of their 5-Day Intensive Hotel Immersion Program at the Gloria Maris Ballroom of Grand City Hotel, reinforcing the group’s commitment to hospitality education, industry collaboration, and workforce development in Northern Mindanao.

The training included guided exposure within the Housekeeping Department, hotel facility tours, and management learning sessions designed to provide students with practical insights into real-world hotel operations. The program was highlighted by a management talk led by Chona Antinamo, Operations Manager of Newdawn Hotel, who shared professional expertise on service standards, hotel management practices, and career pathways in the hospitality industry.
