Grand City Hotels, Inc. Strengthens Commitment to Inclusive Hospitality for PWDs and Senior Citizens

Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines — Grand City Hotels, Inc,  launches its company-wide initiative that champions accessibility, respect, and equal opportunity for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and Senior Citizens.

Rooted in the belief that hospitality should be experienced by all, the program reinforces the company’s commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment—both in the workplace and across all guest touch points.

As part of this commitment, Grand City Hotels ensures equal opportunity employment, adopting non-discriminatory hiring practices and providing reasonable accommodations that empower individuals based on their skills and capabilities through job matching.

For guests, the program enhances the overall hotel experience by prioritizing accessible spaces, attentive assistance, and personalized service. Team members are trained to deliver respectful, patient, and proactive support—ensuring that PWDs and Senior Citizens can enjoy  comfortable access and stays across all hotel facilities.

The initiative also upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy on discrimination, safeguarding the dignity of every guest and employee. Regular training and awareness programs are conducted to ensure compliance with Philippine laws, with the latest being a DTI x COHARA led (Cdo hotel & restaurant association) training & Info session on the Rights and Privileges of Senior Citizens and PWD for Hotels and Restaurants, held at DTI Region X, last March 12, 2026.
